About Me

So who am I you ask?  Well my name is Kurt Schwacke, but beyond that, not your typical copywriter… that’s who. While I have done my due diligence when it comes to training, understanding my niche and creating copy that sells, I do not come from a marketing background per se. However, my love for both writing and all that is culinary in every sense of the word has been an integral part of my being since I was a teenager.  I have always excelled in school work that involved the written word….and have always loved to cook.  That said, I took the long road to beginning a business that utilized both skills and interests.

I spent 15 years in the corporate world where I learned much about business basics; meeting deadlines, organizing, persuading, listening, managing projects, and managing people.  During that time I also earned an MBA.   While I was successful and received promotions, I never loved (or even really liked I hate to admit) what I was doing.  I finally decided it was time to do something about it and my wife and I opened a small business (franchise) that catered to making meals for busy professionals.  I wish I could tell you it was a success story, but alas few entrepreneurs make it the first time… and we were no exception.

What I got from the experience though was profound. I loved the variety of tackling new problems every day. I loved reporting to me.  And most importantly, I loved doing the marketing materials for the business.  It satisfied my need to be creative and write.  Better yet, about something that was of interest!  Wow! My next venture was almost decided for me. So let me put my years of business experience, love of food, writing ability, marketing savvy and creativeness to work for you!  I can’t wait to get started!
